January: Winter!

Hello! 
This month we’re learning a lot about winter! What is it, vocabulary about the weather and winter clothes…and everything with Froggy’s company. We started the month by reading “Froggy gets dressed” and suddenly, out of nowhere, FROGGY APPEARED. 



















We’ve also learned our winter song called “Wintertime is here” by the Kiboomers. You can find it by scanning the QR inside our penguin craft!
















December: Christmas

November: Pete the cat and his 4 groovy buttons!  

Hello Pete! Welcome! 

With Pete the cat and his 4 groovy buttons we’re going to learn about colours, shapes and numbers! Here you have a photo of us, the turtles class, with Pete and our own puppet! 





















September: The Colour Monster 

Hello!!

September started as a really colourful month! The turtles met our friend the Colour Monster, a special monster full of colours and different emotions that we learned about. Here you have some photos with the monster <3

Top English Speakers

Hello! Today I want to talk a little bit about our new activity: Top English Speakers  Each month, from 1st grade to 5th grade, we play a fun game called “Top English Speakers of the Month”. This year’s theme is Mario Bros! Everyone decorates their own “Toad” which starts with no stars. At the end of every English lesson, if the students have spoken “enough” English, their Toad moves one or two stars, but if they speak too much Spanish they will lose a star. If your Toad reaches the fifth star by the end of the month, you’ll get a special prize, it can be a small gift (like a pen) or something fun (like being the teacher’s helper for a week).  Students will also receive a congratulatory note to take home! Our English Blog begins!
